The Beacon is one of Northwest Ohio's most popular community newspapers. We are a women-operated, free weekly newspaper that shares the stories of the incredible people, businesses and organizations in our community. The Beacon is a reliable and entertaining source for information on local events, schools, businesses and lake life. We are based in Port Clinton, but The Beacon is distributed - and has ardent fans - across several counties.
