We are currently seeking an Experienced Access Control Technician to join our growing team. If you have a strong background in access control systems and a passion for delivering high-quality service, we’d love to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install, program, and maintain access control systems, including card readers, biometric devices, and electronic locking hardware.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to access control systems.

• Perform routine system inspections and preventive maintenance.

• Collaborate with clients to customize and integrate access control solutions.

• Maintain detailed documentation of service calls, installations, and repairs.

• Train clients on system operation and troubleshooting procedures.

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards during all installations and repairs.

• Coordinate with team members and other trades to complete projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years working with access control systems (e.g., Kantech, Honeywell, Alarm.com, or similar platforms).

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certifications are a plus.

• Skills:

  • Strong understanding of low-voltage systems, networking, and wiring diagrams.

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving hardware/software issues.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics.

• Certifications: Relevant industry certifications (e.g., OSHA, BICSI, or manufacturer-specific credentials) are highly desirable.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various environments.

• Other: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Background check required.
