Join us for the Chamber's professional development lunch series, "On the Menu" - presented by Premier Planning Services! Our next topic on the menu is, "Small Business Basics" with speaker, Miranda Hoffman - Director of the Ohio Small Business Development Center at Terra State Community College.
Miranda Hoffman is a Certified Business Advisor and has a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Accountancy, both from the University of Toledo. During this presentation, she will walk you through how to start, sustain, and grow your business.
About our speaker:
Miranda started her career working in public accounting, in the audit and advisory department of a regional firm, which gave her experience in businesses of all sizes and industry types. She then worked as a Chief Financial Officer between two companies, for 15 years, and was heavily involved in the overall business operations. During this time, she also ran her own small business where she consulted numerous small businesses on development, certifications, licensures, financing assistance, inventory management, bookkeeping, and general business advising. In her position as the Director and Certified Business Advisor at the SBDC, she offers no-cost training and confidential business advice to small businesses in Erie, Ottawa, Sandusky, and Seneca counties regardless of where they are in their business life cycle.
